Press setter operator • Marion County, West Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Marion County, West Virginia. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting 6+ years on the tools preferred.
