On a typical shift you will upsell starters, desserts and beverages; restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; greet guests, seat them and present the menu.
