The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
