Construction helper • Maui County, Hawaii

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Maui County, Hawaii. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Six days a week, one day off.
