Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Mercer County, Ohio. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
