Single needle operator — Moray

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Moray, Scotland. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Pay around £2,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
