Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Kane County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
