Flatlock machine operator • Greene County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Greene County, Georgia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
