Plant operator — Hyde County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Hyde County, North Carolina. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. On the job you will handle: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
