Restoration bricklayer • Bailey County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Bailey County, Texas. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
