Vacancy available: glazing assistant (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based on a construction site. The role involves fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass. You should have: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
