Power float operator • Allamakee County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Allamakee County, Iowa. You will be based in a residential housing project. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Rotating shifts.
