Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Muskegon County, Michigan. The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
