Framing carpenter — Gulani

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Gulani, Yobe State. The role involves glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
