Dry lining plasterer wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Washington County, Vermont. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
