Urgent requirement: overlocker operator (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
