Assembly technician — Devon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an assembly technician in Devon, England. You will work at an automotive parts factory. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Can read work instructions and basic measurements Day-to-day duties: • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
