Foundry worker — Watauga County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Watauga County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
