Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Yoakum County, Texas. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
