Mining dozer operator • Otsego County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Otsego County, Michigan. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
