Lathe programmer-operator — Claiborne Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day to day you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
