Press machine operator — Broadwater County

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Broadwater County, Montana. The job is in a textile mill. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature 3+ years on the tools preferred.
