The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
