Vertical milling machine operator — Lenoir County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lenoir County, North Carolina. The job is in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
