Sand plant operator — Bakassi

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Bakassi, Cross River State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings We offer ₦95,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
