Concrete pump mate — Rockingham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Rockingham County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
