Prep cook wanted in Saline County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Saline County, Kansas. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. On a typical shift you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
