Fettler — Bristol County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Bristol County, Massachusetts. The job is on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
