Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Miami County, Kansas. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
