Oven operator — The Scottish Borders

Vacancy available: we are hiring an oven operator in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills You will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing.
