Horizontal milling machine operator • Lamar County, Alabama

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Lamar County, Alabama. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
