Great opportunity: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Catron County, New Mexico. You will be based at a powder coating unit. On a typical shift you will pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
