Stone mason — Callahan County

Join our team: we are hiring a stone mason in Callahan County, Texas. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone On the job you will handle: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys 4+ years on the tools preferred.
