Now hiring: CNC programmer-operator (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Washington County, Vermont. You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
