Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Coffee County, Tennessee. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
