Argon welder wanted in Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Grant County, Oregon. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
