Road roller operator — Decatur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Decatur County, Kansas. You will work at a road-building project. On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
