Tile setter — Quitman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile setter in Quitman County, Mississippi. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. On the job you will handle: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
