Plant operator • Amherst County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Amherst County, Virginia. The job is on a production line. You will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
