Falsework carpenter wanted in Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
