We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Bonneville County, Idaho. The job is in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Day-to-day duties: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Six days a week, one day off. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
