Heavy equipment operator — Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Grant County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
