Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel technician in Pulaski County, Illinois. The job is in a smash repair workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Day to day you will MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
