Hoist operator — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Jackson County, Tennessee. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
