Brickwork mason — Lapeer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Lapeer County, Michigan. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
