Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Day to day you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication.
