Argon arc welder — Sandusky County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Sandusky County, Ohio. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
