Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Atkinson County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Atkinson County, Georgia. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Part-time with flexible hours.
