Backhoe loader operator — Nez Perce County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Nez Perce County, Idaho. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
