Hand presser — Harris County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Harris County, Georgia. You will work in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching 4+ years on the tools preferred.
